Rex Sport, Asociación de Asesores del Deporte, is a non-profit international association created in Barcelona in 2002, with the purpose of promoting and improving the current Sports Law and its diffusion among young lawyers. Some of the most reputed, worldwide-known professionals in the Sports Law field, linked to some of the most relevant law firms, are members of the Association. Rex Sport may proudly say that its associates are actively involved in the most relevant sports-related cases. The Association is experiencing a gradual growth in order to preserve the atmosphere of closeness between the members, as well as a friendly environment. Such is the context where Rex Sport was born, seeking to promote the exchange of legal knowledge, thus actively contributing to the study of Sports Law. To this end, the Association, jointly with the Instituto Superior de Derecho y Economía, periodically organises the Master’s Course in International Sports Law, an English-speaking programme taught in Madrid in which many of the Rex Sports members participate as Professors. Thus, in order to reach the abovementioned goals, the Association strives to promote bonds and the exchange of knowledge among professionals, by supporting all initiatives and organising as many activities as required for achieving its aims.
